About Eco-Cycle

Eco-Cycle was born through grassroots organizing efforts in 1976. Now, 44 years later, the same grassroots organizing efforts have allowed the organization to create change at the local and state level. Find out how Eco- Cycle has grown its network from 0 to over 2,000 in Denver to realize its mission of creating Zero Waste communities through the Zero Waste Denver campaign.

Zero Waste Video Series

Reducing waste seems like it should be easy, but let's face it. It's complicated! That's why Eco-Cycle, a zero waste nonprofit in Colorado, has developed a new series of videos to cut through the confusion.

EcoCycle Zero Waste Videos

The series is a collaboration between COPIRG, Environment Colorado, Sierra Club, NRDC, and Denver Compost Challenge. The videos include both English and Spanish versions specifically for Denver.

The videos cover everything from where our stuff comes from, to details of why and how to recycle and compost, and the problems with plastics.

In the podcast, Jasmin also highlighted the Denver Recycling Directory. This is a handy resource is you want to know where to recycle anything from aerosol cans and action figures, to yard waste and yoga mats.
