90-Day Challenge Goal:
To bring more awareness to individuals on the climate change crisis and to create networking opportunities that ensure their impacts are felt.
Their Climate Action Challenge Experience
What did you accomplish?
We helped children become engaged in school by increasing school participation through the activities we created. At first, we encountered issues with our government however we were able to create a partnership.
Actions Taken:
Educated over 40 high schools students on SDG and climate change
Trained Teachers from 10 schools on sustainable development goals
Partnered to provide solar lamps to children without electricity
Started up the first environmental club in Ogun state
Educated 150 higher institutions students on climate change
Carried out 2 climate walks
Started up an office in Cameroon
Gave out writing materials to 50 students
Provided SDG curriculum to teachers from 10 schools
Next Steps:
We plan to educate 40,000 youths in 2023!
